Langdale to Davis Bay

Caught the 7:25 ferry, started riding at 8:08.

The usual way up, got to the start of Hwy 102 in 1 ½ hours, start of 103 in 2 hours.

Guy’s Gulch is turning into a speedway topped out at 35km/h.

Found a new trail at the bottom of First Step.  When we hit the logging road we usually turn right up a short hill.  To ride this new line, The Paintball Gallery (1.3 km), turn left, then 100m later turn right on a secondary road, after another 200m (at a sharp left turn) turn right.  It’s a thing of beauty.

Arrived at Jack Rd at 1 o’clock with 37 km on the odometer.

Road to Davis Bay waited for the bus to Sechelt, missed the Halfmoon Bay connection-so rode to Sergeant’s Bay- total distance- 47 km.
